Sometimes when you love someone with God's truth - the truth you lead them to hurts
Sometimes they choose to not love you anymore
But I want to be that friend...
Because the other kind of friend compliments your hair while ignoring the fact that your leg is mauled in a bear trap
Seriously...
Who wants to be that friend?
i would be the kind of friend that would lend them my leg and plus one. lean on me and i will get you where you want to go. who cares about your hair you are beautiful no mater what, lets get you to the place that you want to be.
ReplyDeleteI constantly struggle with this...I don't want to call them out to the point where they're like "stop preaching" and just reject what I say completely and ignore me for awhile or forever. I'm always afraid of the fact that with some people I think you might get one chance to show them the light, so I don't want to ruin it. One word can be the deciding factor. For example; Yesterday I saw this video of Oprah and it scared me to death because it was the very thing that I was already afraid of that happened to her. She said in her late twenties while attending a baptist church in her hometown, she said "I was all into the service and music until I heard the pastor say something I never though he would..the pastor told me that God was a jealous God..." she said it stopped her in her tracks and ever since that word, shes been "looking" for a god that was all about love, not jealousy. She doesn't believe Christ is the only way anymore and that is what Im soo afraid of. I guess I just have so much love for ppl that If I have anything to do with it, I dont want anyone in the world to reject Christ in my lifetime..I want to save em' all! So let me know what you think.
